Finsbury Park Homeless Families Project is a Registered Charity (No. 1030970) and a company limited by guarantee (No. 2879813). The organisation aims to improve the quality of life for homeless families and families in crisis, but supporting them with a wide range of services until they are settled in suitable accommodation.

 

Families are placed in temporary accommodation in the Finsbury Park area from all over London, because of the abundance of hotels and hostels in the area. Many London boroughs place homeless families into temporary accoonmodation, such as reception centres, where as many as 15 families live on one floor, having to share kitchen and bathroom facilities.
