My story

"I had no idea there was somewhere like this to go. I was always frightened to leave him, because my English was so bad, but then he started on Abdi, so I knew it was time to go. Finsbury Park Homeless Families found someone who spoke my language and sorted everything out. We were in a hostel for 3 months but then eventually we got a flat. Just the three of us. They even helped us get money for a fridge. I feel like my life has started again."
